How do I create my first A/B test?
After installing ConvertLab, navigate to 'Tests' and click 'Create New Test'. Select a product, choose your writing tone, and let our AI generate variants. The test will start automatically once you confirm.
How long should I run a test?
We recommend running tests until they reach statistical significance (shown in your dashboard). This typically takes 1-4 weeks depending on your store traffic. ConvertLab will notify you when results are statistically valid.
Can I run multiple tests at once?
Yes! The number of concurrent tests depends on your plan: Basic allows 5 active tests, Growth allows 50, and Scale allows up to 1,000.
What happens when I publish a winner?
When you click 'Publish Winner', the winning description replaces your original product description in Shopify. The original is saved and can be restored at any time.
How does the AI generate descriptions?
ConvertLab uses advanced AI models (powered by OpenAI) trained on high-converting e-commerce copy. You provide context about your product and target audience, and the AI generates multiple unique variants optimised for conversion.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We only access product data necessary for A/B testing. We never access customer personal information. Our AI partner (OpenAI) does not use your data to train their models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Your subscription ends at the current billing period. All your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day free trial on all plans so you can fully evaluate ConvertLab before paying. After that, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, as per Shopify's standard app policies.
